As part of our Quaker testimonies the GFAH group have been part of a rota of volunteers operating a Tea run on Sunday evenings in the city centre for 13 years. Our two teams provide hot and cold drinks, biscuits and fruit in Cadogan Street to around 40 people every seven weeks.
Each team has 3 people who are able to commit a minimum of 2 hours from 8pm to 10pm every 7 weeks, plus a person to do the shopping and an extra person who can step in when a regular person is unavailable.
We need another person to join one of our teams on a regular basis. You need to be a car driver, okay to stand for an hour in the street throughout the year and able to help lift a box of flasks.
